Pirmin Grehl is one of today's outstanding flutists. The former solo flutist of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, multiple ARD prize winner and professor at the conservatories in Karlsruhe and Lucerne has already been a guest at the Organ Spring Festival several times.

His concert together with Gunther Rost three years ago on Ascension Day in the pilgrimage church of Maria Straßengel is an unforgotten memory.

As part of the project Orgelfrühling Steiermark 2020.2021.transformations we bring - again on Ascension Day - a video of the two musicians recorded there, with music by Johann Sebastian Bach.
